GDP’s main features are that classes taught in English, and you can also learn with diverse students and be exposed to different cultures and values every day. I feel this way because in class there are many discussions, group work, sharing opinions, and understanding others’ views. It feels a lot like studying overseas, and the best part for me is how it helps me build both global thinking and strong language skills. Even if you’re not confident in your English at first, you don’t need to speak it perfectly. What matters is the desire to connect with others and the willingness to get involved. Taking that first step opens the door to connections that cross borders, and I think GDP is the ideal place for anyone ready to take on learning that links them to the wider world.
I am focusing my studies on anthropology and sociology, where I’ve learned how identity is continually shaped by culture, society, and personal relationships. This led me to want to express Japanese culture through fashion, because I believe clothing can communicate history, lifestyle, and aesthetics in a powerful way. In the future, I hope to connect people and cultures through fashion and grow into someone who can create meaningful value in this field.
Okayama City also provides a great environment for student life, balancing urban convenience with a calm, natural setting that makes it easy to live and study comfortably. For anyone seeking a place with excellent academic and living environments while gaining global experiences, I believe this program is an ideal choice.
