Studying Outside of GDP
GDP has an agreement with the following departments within the university, which permits GDP students to take courses they offer, given their Japanese proficiency and prerequisite knowledge in the subject of the courses.
- School of Agriculture
- School of Science
- Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences
- School of Letters
- Faculty of Law
- School of Health Sciences
- School of Engineering
- School of Education
- School of Economics
In addition to coursework, some students may also be able to conduct their senior project with researchers in the departments. Students who wish to conduct their senior project in other faculties and departments make an application at the end of their first year. Acceptance is contingent upon the student’s academic performance, courses taken up to that point, and the availability of seats at each department. The students continue to be a GDP student and must satisfy the graduation requirements of the GDP.
