Features of my courses

Instructors from the Faculty of Agriculture, including myself, are in charge of the three classes mentioned above, which form part of the Applied Animal Science course. We use an English biology textbook that focuses on animals and their basic biology as a resource for our lectures. These foundational classes form the basis for more advanced and detailed lectures on Applied Animal Science in Japanese and are therefore specifically designed for students who intend to graduate from the Faculty of Agriculture via the Matching Track program.

Key words for research

Birds, sex differentiation, osmoregulatory mechanism, gene expression, embryogenesis, endocrine

What I like about Discovery

Unlike other faculties, the Discovery Program has fewer boundaries dictating what students should study. As a result, it is an exceptionally diverse program, attracting Japanese and international students from different backgrounds to pursue their varied interests by allowing them to design their own curriculum and learn collaboratively.
